Current Lions President, Jeff Miller said in his remarks Sunday,  “Stan was our historian and program arranger for many years. He was a leader for the club to get the Leo youth club going, Silver Lake tree planting and memorial fountain were his initiative. He was seldom without his camera and notepad Lions guests and award recipients were victims of Stan’s inquisitive mind. He had very few strangers in his realm. If he did not know someone he would talk to them with honest interest, and walk away with one more stranger scratched off the list. His friendship and good humour was an asset to our club. He was a true scoop”
