The Port Dover Lions have made a $60,000.00 donation to the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation to aid in the purchase of 11 patient bedside vital sign monitors for the Emergency Department. These important pieces of equipment are running 365 days of the year and 24 hours a day. The amount needed to purchase this vital equipment is $360,000.00. The Lions donation has brought the NGH Foundation that much closer to reaching its goal.
“The Lions have been consistent and important donors for decades, since 1998 the Port Dover Lions have contributed over $250,000 to various NGH Foundation Equipment campaigns. They are amazing supporters of our hospital and our local community. Their continuing support helps to ensure that the hospital is able to provide exceptional healthcare close to home for our Community. We cannot thank them enough.” Stated Sarah Muntz-Flowerday Development Officer NGH Foundation. “Their commitment to the NGH Foundation and NGH is greatly appreciated.”
The Port Dover Lions have been serving the Community since 1938.
